Family Owned & Proudly Grown in California
Otto & Sons Nursery was established in 1975 by Otto and Jeanne Klittich and their four sons; Bob, Bill, Scott, and Karl. Prior to starting the nursery, Otto landscaped in the Southern California area as "Landscape by Otto" for 22 years. From a 2 ½ acre property in Chatsworth, the nursery was relocated and has expanded to 38 acres in Fillmore. The nursery is currently owned and managed by Scott & Cindy Klittich. Scott joined the business in January 1985 after receiving a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Since then he has helped the nursery grow and continue its goal of raising high-quality plants for Californians to enjoy.
We supply independent retail garden centers and landscapers throughout the region with quality plant material. With over 50 years in the business, we strive to offer the best selection and the highest quality plant material all ready to make your yard the best it has ever been.

Today Alex was drawn to a shady patch of pincushion flower. This Scabiosa Flutter Rose Pink also comes in blue and white. It blooms from early spring thru fall with a gentle spreading growth habit. We find its blends well with roses in our Cottage Garden.
NEW 🌸🌸🌸
We have a new variety of Veronica called ‘Skyler Pink.’ With taller stems than the more compact Veronica varieties, it’s soft pink flower spikes stand out in the garden and make an excellent cut filler flower for your floral arrangements.
There are lots of critters in the garden enjoying the warm weather. Praying mantis, western fence lizard, giant swallowtail butterfly, and black and yellow garden spider. 🕷️🦎🦋
If you have been waiting for Ageratum Monarch Magic and Peter Cottontail Yarrow, they are back in stock along with many other great perennials.
